LL	Provisions that have a lower level of entrenchment. In order to secure their alteration: the Bill must be supported, on its final reading in the House of Assembly by the votes of not less than two-thirds of all the elected members of the House; there must be an interval of not less than ninety days between the introduction of the Bill in the House of Assembly and the beginning of the proceedings in the House on the second reading of the Bill, and the Speaker must certify to the President that steps (a) and (b) have been duly observed.
DL	Provisions that have a deeper level of entrenchment. In order to secure their alteration the Bill must be supported on its final reading in the House of Assembly by the votes of not less than three-quarters of all the elected members of the House; there must be an interval of not less than ninety days between the introduction of the Bill in the House of Assembly and the beginning of the proceedings in the House on the second reading of the Bill; before being presented to the President for signature, after it has been passed by the House, the Bill must have been approved by a majority of the votes cast in a referendum, and the Speaker must certify to the President that steps (a), (b) and (c) have been duly observed.
